We won! The guys over at RocketTheme.com (http://www.rockettheme.com/aff/affiliate.php?id=36 group=1) have awarded troozers.com the very first Site Of The Month Award , as can be seen by the lovely rosette now proudly adorning this site :)The award is given to RocketTheme template developed sites, nominated by the members and judged by the panel on how well it's been implemented and developed.Special thanks also goes to Jacob Hodara of jh-design (http://www.jh-design.com) for modifying the Internet Gazette template to my particular tastes and making it more 'trooz-centric'.Once again many thanks for the award guys.

Resignation

Not entirely sure why it hasn't appeared on joomla.org, but the sad news is; as of early June I have resigned from the Joomla development team. Now before any conspiracy theorists decide on the where, the when and more importantly the why I resigned, I will give you the brief version; Time. As some may have noticed from the CHANGELOG's, my input into the development and maintenance of Joomla! has been woeful for more months than is in anyway reasonable. This has been mainly due to work, family and other commitments that I have. With this in mind, and knowing of the loads of quality developers now in Joomla, I decided that this would be as good a time as any to formally resign from the project. And that's it! No disagreements with any of the team members or direction of the project. Just a simple lack of available time. I will of course still be maintaining troozers.com and continue producing mambots, modules and components in my own unique timescales plus providing any help that I can to the Joomla! project, which I am still passionate about.Onwards and upwards :)

Updated WebcamXP

I have updated the WebcamXP Component, Module and Mambot for use with Joomla! 1.0.x, which can be found here (http://www.troozers.com/option,com_docman/task,doc_download/gid,11/Itemid,47.html). All three elements are installed automatically, when you install the component.
The update is just a minor one to better support the way Joomla! handles mambots, improve some presentation elements and tighten some code.

Template Tutorial

One of the things that I have been grappling with over quite a few months, is how to write a tutorial on creating a template for Joomla! I have made a few stabs at this, but the amount of information and the way it was presented was always a little lacking.
Now, however, thanks to Barrie North of Compass Designs (http://www.compassdesigns.net/) a very complete and excellent tutorial has been published on Joomla! This has been possible by using the "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.5/)"
You can see the tutorial by clicking here (http://dev.joomla.org/content/view/1136/79/).
