Thanks to a couple of "heads-up" from SlashLite and Ole Andersen, I have now updated the howto for the pop-up login box.  It seems I had forgotten the crucial CSS entry needed to position the box and set its initial display parameters.

This has now been included within the howto, as can be seen here.  Cheers guys! ;-)
