As you may have seen over at joomla.org , I have recently been doing my duty as UK Expo Meister and flying the flag of Joomla! at the Linux Expo in London (5-6th October 2005). A very good and exhausting event as we had a constant and busy flow into our booth from the time they opened the doors to the time they closed them.
The Expo also proved an excellent opportunity to meet a number of the other core team members, which is a first as the "team" is in fact very virtual.
Lots of good and supportive comments were made towards Joomla!, and a few troozers readers popped along too. In the wake of the Expo I will be reviving my template tutorial soon, which shows a VERY basic template being created, as some of the people coming along thought that templating was a hard process. In fact if you look closely over at the Expo story over at joomla.org , you will see me creating the "barebones" template in front of somebody in a couple of minutes. This "barebones" template will appear in a couple of days along with the associated explanations. Thanks for all your support guys, and sorry to those who popped in when my voice did actually fail on me!
