A neat little section, showing off my insignificant knowledge of web
development and Joomla! Anything I learn, or nick from someone else,
will be put in here.

One of the things that I have been grappling with over quite a few months, is how to write a tutorial on creating a template for Joomla! I have made a few stabs at this, but the amount of information and the way it was presented was always a little lacking.
Now, however, thanks to Barrie North of Compass Designs a very complete and excellent tutorial has been published on Joomla! This has been possible by using the "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License"
You can see the tutorial by clicking here. |

Unfortunately Microsoft in all it's wisdom had not implemented the PNG transparencies format properly and I was left with a grey/blue background behing all my PNG images. |

This is something that I first saw over at Jason Murphy's website and thought was way cool and an excellent place to put the login box. His is hidden somewhere on the site, but I wanted mine to be a little more obvious. |
